Westbrooke Farm was established in 1984 and was recognized as being one of the first warmblood breeders in the southeast US. In 1996, Jennifer Schwickerath was hired by Logistics International, the Atlanta Olympic Committee and the United States Department Of Agriculture as the Manager of the 1996 Olympic Quarantine at Atlanta Hartsfield Airport. Westbrooke Farm sold many of their homebred Warmblood Sporthorses to clients across the United States and from Canada to South Africa. Understanding bloodlines and the effect on performance has been key to the successful breeding program in years past.

In the late 1980s and 1990s Westbrooke Farm was a leading edge Equine Reproduction and Fertility Clinic, standing as many as 16 stallions at one time. The Farm stood several successful warmblood breeding stallions including the Dutch/Holsteiner stallion Manchester/Kommandeur, the Hanoverian stallion Falco and the Trakehner Stallion Peron, the 1996 Olympic Bronze Medal winner in Dressage.

Westbrooke Farm was awarded with more than twenty Premium Foal awards by several Warmblood Registries, including GOV/Oldenburg Registry during the 1990s and 2000s breeding years. Breeding awards included the 2002 USDF Horse of the Year (Signature) and the 2008 American Warmblood Horse of the Year (Senter Stage).
